Getting started
How do I start?
Download it, sign in, pick the speakers or headset your call plays through and your microphone, then press Start listening before you dial. Start it once per session: it splits the calls itself.
Which sign-in do I use?
Individual for your own account, the same email and password as the Axelerate Academy. Team or company if your company gave you a login: your email, or the username they gave you.
Why does it ask for a code?
The first time on a new computer, and once a month after that, we email a six-digit code. If your team gave you a username and no email, the code goes to your manager: ask them for it.
I got a temporary password
Sign in with it as Team or company. The app asks you to choose your own straight away. It works for seven days; after that, ask your manager for a new one.
Calls and listening
It hears nothing from the other side
The speaker device is wrong. Pick the one the call actually plays through (usually your headset) in Settings → Sound, or press the gear during the call: changing it does not end the call. The sound check prints the words it heard.
It coaches things nobody said
Close music and videos: whatever plays on the laptop goes into the same ear as the call. Headphones stop your speakers reaching your microphone.
Can people on the call see it?
No. The window is hidden from screen sharing and recordings. Nothing is added to the call itself.
How do I hide it quickly?
Ctrl+Shift+E shows and hides it from anywhere. Closing it keeps it in the tray, still listening.
Minutes and paying
What counts as a minute?
A minute of somebody talking while a call is open. Silence between calls is free.
How do I buy more?
In the app: Usage & plans → Plans. You pay on EasyKash's page in your browser and the app picks the payment up by itself.
I paid and nothing changed
Give it a few seconds, then press "I've paid, check now". A Fawry or cash payment clears when it is paid at the outlet. Your receipt has the order number to quote us.
Refunds
All sales are final; see the refund policy.
Teams
How do I add somebody?
Team page → Add a person: their name, a username, their email if they have one. A strong password is made for you; tick Email them their login or hand it over.
Someone forgot their password
Team page → the ⋯ on their row → Reset password. They get a new temporary one and choose their own again.
Someone left
Team page → ⋯ → Remove from the team. Their login stops at once and the seat is freed; the minutes they used stay on record.
All seats are in use
Pause somebody to free their seat, or buy seats: Usage & plans → Teams & Enterprise → Add seats now.
Privacy
Is my call recorded?
No audio is kept. The call is transcribed as it happens and coached from the words. Transcripts and write-ups are kept on your computer and on your account.
Can my manager read my calls?
No. Managers see minutes used and when you were last active, never your calls.
