Invisible on a screen share

The window is left out of screen capture, so a shared screen, a Zoom recording and a screenshot all show the call without it.

Mute and see-through

Mute stops it listening and counting. See-through fades the window so you can look at the camera and still read the line.

Paste it and slide from loose to word for word. The stop rules still win: a removal request ends the call whatever the script says.

Questions people ask first

Is it safe to install?
Yes. It installs for you only, under your own account, so Windows never asks for an administrator password. Windows shows one warning the first time ("unknown publisher") because we have not bought a code-signing certificate yet; the download page explains it and prints the file's SHA-256 so you can check it.
Which call apps does it work with?
Any app that plays the call through your laptop: Dialpad in Chrome, Zoom, Google Meet, a softphone, even a recording. It hears the speakers, not the app, so there is nothing to connect. The one call it cannot hear is one on your mobile phone, unless it is on speaker beside the laptop.
Does the person on the call know?
Nothing is added to the call and nothing is installed on their side. The Ear's window is hidden from screen sharing too. Recording and calling laws differ by state and country, and you are still the one responsible for the call you make.
What is a minute?
A minute of somebody talking. Minutes are counted only while a call is open and someone spoke in the last few seconds, so leaving the Ear running between calls costs nothing.
Is there a Mac version?
Not yet. It is Windows only today, because it listens through a part of Windows. Mac and Linux are on the way: leave your email and we will write once, the day one is ready.
